Paragliding in Isère à Saint Hilaire du Touvet and Annecy lake

Also known as a tandem flight, it is a paragliding flight with a larger wing compared to solo flights. It involves a second harness for the passenger positioned in front of the pilot, with the pilot controlling the flight from behind the passenger.

Please note that a weather forecast that appears uncertain for the weekend or the upcoming days is not truly reliable until within 48 hours. Trust us... we also have an interest in ensuring that the flight takes place under the best possible conditions. We closely monitor the weather evolution each day, as well as the various local forecasts in our region. The decision will be made together on the evening before the appointment during your phone call between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

For your information, a clear blue sky is not necessarily a guarantee of a good flight. Wind is a more crucial factor, and a sky with alternating clouds and sunshine often indicates better flying conditions. Clouds or cloud cover can actually be favorable for paragliding flights.

If the flight is canceled and you are unable to reschedule the appointment, we will refund the flight.

Lastly, despite all our precautions and expertise, paragliding remains an outdoor sport, and we may need to cancel the flight at the very last moment for your safety and ours (stronger winds than expected, overly turbulent conditions).

If your weight exceeds 90kg, the flight is possible, but it is essential that you inform us before the day of your flight so that we can provide a paraglider size suitable for your physique.

Flights are possible from the age of 4 for a willing child and there is no age limit for older individuals. For adults and seniors, it is necessary to be able to walk briskly during takeoff (approximately a 20m run-up). If you have any doubts about your health condition or physical abilities, please seek advice and clearance from your primary care physician.

For Saint-Hilaire du Touvet: The meeting point is always at the takeoff site in Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet, next to the upper station of the Funicular. The instructors will arrange for transportation back to the takeoff site after the flight.

For Doussard: The meeting point is always at the paragliding base located at the address: 455 route de la vieille église, 74210 Doussard.

Close to Lyon, the paragliding site in Saint-Hilaire du Touvet is the ideal choice for tandem flights. Immediately after takeoff, a 400-meter vertical cliff appears beneath our feet, overlooking the Grésivaudan Valley.

The thermal updrafts from the Plateau des Petites Roches are favorable from 10 am until 3 pm for the longest tandem flights. It may even be possible, with your pilot, to ascend to the cliffs of Dent de Crolles.

Certainly, the takeoff site at Lake Annecy, above the Col de la Forclaz, is arguably the most photographed paragliding site in France. The stunning landscape and the duration of the flights make it a top-notch destination.
